Last weekend was the baby shower for Laura's cousin, Missy. So, we all went up to Philadelphia on Saturday and saw Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell:
On Sunday, while Laura was at the shower, the kids and I went to the Franklin Institute, where among other things, we saw a cool exhibit called The Art of the Brick. Artist Nathan Sawaya has recreated many classic works of art using Lego bricks. There is also a section of his original work. After that, there was an area where the kids could build with Lego bricks, as well. Here are some of the recreated pieces:
